About Me

Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2000. You may have questions about my background and experience and I am happy to share that information with you, but here are the things that I think are most important for you to know about me as you are deciding on whether or not we should work together…

  • I look at life through a spiritual lens. I believe we are here for a reason and there are lessons to be learned. Now, what that reason is and what those lessons are…that’s for each of us to understand for ourselves. Which leads me to the next point…

  • I do not have answers or magical solutions for you, but I do have a lot of questions which will help facilitate your own personal learning and discovery.

  • I employ traditional talk therapy, but I utilize experiential methods in my practice as well. So, we can sit on the proverbial couch, or, we can go for a walk along the greenbelt, take a hike in the foothills or work with horses through my Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) practice. • Finally, connection is very important to me. Connection to self, others and the world around us.
